Verizon staff have been offered the opportunity to pick up an exclusive version of the Motorola Droid RAZR in red, matching the company’s signature color. Staff have been give the choice of a 16GB version for $99 or a 32GB MAXX model for $199 due to arrive in April. The models will also come with a unique number engraved on the rear of each device, a bonus docking station, as well as the word’s ‘Limited Edition’ inscribed on the front.
The latest version of the RAZR joins the original back version, which was followed by a white RAZR and then a special Developer Edition with unlocked bootloader. These versions ship with a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display and are powered by a dual-core TI OMAP processor clocked at 1.2GHz.
Motorola then followed these iterations with the RAZR MAXX, that principally differed by the addition of a larger 3,300mAh good for watching up to eight HD movies back-to-back.
