Video game players are likely in for a strange trip when tackling the first-person shooter Far Cry 3this fall.
Ubisoft has released a trailer featuring some of the gameplay for Far Cry 3, which launches Sept. 4 for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
The game takes place on a mysterious island ruled by “piracy and human misery,” reads a description on the official website.
One of the characters featured in the game is Dr. Earnhardt, who introduces characters to some “herbal supplements.” Viewers will see the results in the above trailer.
Its predecessor, Far Cry 2, was one of 2008’s more intriguing offerings. It boasted an open world based in Africa for players to explore, and included some gritty moments, such as pulling bullets out of your arm with pliers to heal.
