Facebook’s latest acquisition is Karma. Karma specializes in mobile social gifting by partnering directly with a wide range of brands.
The service enables mobile users on iOS and Android to quickly find gifts, select a personalized card, and notify the recipient via text message, e-mail or Facebook.
Now of the feature of the service lets gift receivers swap for something else, or give the value of the gift to charity, if they do not want the gift given to them
The system eliminates the need for buyers to determine a correct address or other personal details, as recipients are asked to input shipping information after they finalize the gift. Karma then wraps the product as a gift and sends it along to the recipient.
