Sony will ship in all regions an over-the-air update to Android 4.0 to its tablet by the end of May. Sony had previously announced of Android 4.0 was coming for all of its tablet models, but did not specific timetable until today.
In the US, Sony’s Tablet S was upgraded to Android 4.0 in April, but users in Europe, Japan, and elsewhere have been stuck on Android 3.2.1. For the Tablet S, the update brought a panoramic camera mode, an updated gallery viewer with SD card access, and browser enhancements. The Sony Tablet S and Tablet P will get the update by the 24th of May.
