Lenovo has announced the IdeaPad U310 and U410 ultrabooks are now shipping in most markets and will be coming the US and UK in late June.
The ultrabooks are available in a range of configurations, including Core i7 Ivy Bridge processors which take advantage of Lenovo’s RapidBoot technology and Ultra Smart social network updates in sleep mode.
The smaller U310, featuring a 13-inch display with 1366×768 resolution, measures 0.7 inches thick and weighs 3.74 pounds. Buyers can choose between Core i3, i5, and i7 processors, while storage options include a 500GB disk drive and a 32GB solid state drive (SSD).
With a larger 14-inch screen, the U410 weighs a heavier 4.18 pounds. Hard-disk capacity is pushed up to one terabyte, while discrete Nvidia GeForce graphics can also be added. Battery life is claimed to reach nine hours, slightly higher than the quoted seven hours of the U310.
Both models come in a range of five colors, with the IdeaPad U310 starting from $750 and the U410 going for $800 at the basic configuration.
