It’s not often video game players get supplemental downloads more than two years after a title has launched.
However, such is the case with Valve Software first-person shooter Left 4 Dead 2, which receives a fresh expansion on July 24.
The DLC includes a community-created campaign called Cold Stream as well as four from the original Left 4 Dead: Blood Harvest, Crash Course, Dead Air and Death Toll.
The download will be available for PC and Xbox 360.
Left 4 Dead 2, which launched in 2009, stars four survivors of a zombie apocalypse, escaping various locales in the southern United States including Atlanta and Louisiana.
