Valve Source Filmmaker is now in open beta – that is, it’s available to everyone, right now.
For those not in the know, it’s a storytelling tool used to condense the production pipeline of an animation studio down to a single PC. In other words, it’s a bit of software you can use to chop up and edit recorded Valve game footage to create animated shorts. T
his news coming straight after the Steam Greenlight announcement – it’s not a bad opening to the week for Valve.
