Samsung has launched its Music Hub service for the major U.S. variants of its Galaxy S III phone. The service encompasses the key features of many other music apps and services. It allows access to music already on the device and users can purchase song and albums, and store that music both on-device and in the cloud. A premium service for $10/month adds ad-free unlimited streaming and custom radio and recommendations.
At launch, Samsung is offering a 30-day free trial of the Premium service, plus one free album. The Hub music catalog includes music from four major labels (Sony, EMI, Universal, and Warner), plus some independent artists.
The app is available now through the Samsung App Store and Google Play.
