Apple sent out its official invitation to an “event” today, scheduled to take place on September 12 in San Francisco.
The invitation starts off with the message, “It’s almost here,” and boy have we been waiting. The image also seems to indicate that the next iPhone will continue its naming pattern and be called the “iPhone 5.” If you notice, the shadow of the “12″ (nodding to the date of the event) actually takes on the shape of a five.
