Darksiders 2 managed to come out on top in August, selling 247,000 copies across PS3, Xbox 360 and PC; Sleeping Dogs sold 172,000 across PS3 and Xbox 360, an NPD rep confirmed.
PC sales for Sleeping Dogs were omitted from the report because it was only available as a download – no boxed retail version for the PC is available in the US.
