Samsung has announced version 2.0 of its ChatON cross-platform social messaging service. The new version allows users to stay logged in on five different devices at once with a single account. Users can also share and comment on photos and videos in a “Trunk” – one-on-one or in a small group – before sharing them via Twitter or Facebook. It also supports profiles and status updates, turning it into a kind of social network. Animated emoticons and audio clips can be added to messages.
ChatON 2.0 is available for Android, iOS, BlackBerry, Windows Phone, and via the web at chaton.com.
