Activision’s Call of Duty game franchise is one of the biggest money makers every year, but the company’s CEO and president, Bobby Kotick, has told the New York Times that they are not interested in turning the games into a movie.
“CALL OF DUTY may look like a movie, but Mr. Kotick has little interest in turning it into one — and has turned down several studios’ requests. He says movies based on video games rarely please devoted fans and could taint the brand.”
