Digital Chocolate today announced that Spelltris is now available on the App Store. Adapted specifically for iPhone and iPod touch, Spelltris is a unique twist on the classic word puzzle genre. In Spelltris the goal is to create words from letters scrambled in a 3×3 or larger board and once you use up letters, more will fall into the empty places.

Spelltris leverages the devices’ innovative Multi-Touch user interface allowing players to easily tap the device to drop blocks and swipe letters into place. Players can also shake the device to scramble the tiles for a fresh look at the board.
