NetherRealm Studios and DC Comics are hosting a series of popularity contests over on the official Injustice: Gods Among Us website, pitting heroes and villains against each other in a tournament-style bracket where fan votes determine the hypothetical outcome.
The two video below show two full fights from the game featuring Batman vs Bane and Wonder Woman vs Harley Quinn. You’ll find the Arkham influence in the second video.
“Gods Among Us” debuts as a bold new fighting game franchise that introduces a deep, original story featuring a large cast of favorite DC Comics icons such as Batman, Cyborg, Harley Quinn, Nightwing, Deathstroke, Solomon Grundy, Superman, Lex Luthor, The Flash, Green Arrow, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Bane, Catwoman, the Joker, and more. Set in a world where the lines between good and evil are blurred, players will experience heroes and villains engaging in epic battles on a massive scale
The next round of voting starts on February 11, so we’re anticipating more videos in a couple weeks.
Injustice: Gods Among Us will be available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U on April 16 in North America and April 19 in Europe.
