Music service Rhapsody has updated its application for Windows Phone 8, adding a number of new features. The revised software includes a number of changes to work fully with the operating system as well as some cosmetic alterations, and now offers subscribers an option to listen to downloaded music offline.

Subscribers can download albums, songs, and entire playlists onto the phone for offline listening, such as during commutes. The Music Library has been revamped for easier track additions and removals, users can adjust the My Stations list, and there are also improvements pertaining to music discovery in specific genres.

The service, which offers its million subscribers a 16 million-track catalog for $10 per month, may be updating the features in the app ahead of a rumored launch in Europe this Spring.
