In addition to sending word that the PlayStation Network version of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is now available for digital download, Konami has also confirmed that the previously announced Virtual Reality (VR) Missions DLC will be available on March 12, 2013 exclusively for the PS3 in the US and Canada.
The DLC, which will be free at launch up until April 3, 2013, adds 30 all-new missions to the game, featuring the classic VR look inspired by the original Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions. The DLC is described by Konami as “pure, uncut gameplay that introduces a host of unique new challenges that will push Raiden’s skills to its limits.” There’s no official word within the announcement of the DLC’s cost after the April 3 date so smart gamers will want to grab it quick.
