BenQ has expanded its display offerings with two new monitors, the EW2430 and EW2430V. Both models integrate a 24-inch HD panel that utilizes LED backlighting and vertical alignment (VA) technology. The company promises a native contrast ratio of 3,000:1 and eight-bit color, while users can connect equipment via two HDMI ports, D-Sub, or DVI.
The EW2430V adds “smart focus” highlighting, image resolution upconversion, 20,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and picture-in-picture capabilities. Users can also take advantage of 3D deinterlacing and noise reduction.
BenQ has yet to announce pricing for the new monitors, which are expected to arrive first in Europe and the Asia Pacific later this month.
