Emily Watson has been cast in National Geographic Channel’s upcoming anthology series “Genius.”
The show,from executive producers Brian Grazer, Ron Howard and Francie Calfo. “Genius,” which marks the network’s first-ever scripted series, examines the world’s most brilliant innovators with the first season telling the story of Albert Einstein. Previously announced, Geoffrey Rush will play Einstein, and Watson will play his second wife and first cousin, Elsa. Also announced today are additional cast members Michael McElhatton, Seth Gabel, Samantha Colley, Richard Topol and Vincent Kartheiser.
