Klipsch announced today the availability of its new HD Theater 600 Home Theater System. The new system expands Klipsch’s HD Theater series, which was originally introduced in 2009. The HD Theater 600 system is available for $600 on Klipsch’s site.
The HD Theater 600 comes with four satellite speakers, a matching center channel speaker, and a subwoofer. Each speaker uses Klipsch Micro Tractrix horns for output, as well as long-throw IMG woofers to expand midbass bandwidth. Speakers can be positioned horizontally or vertically, and they all feature adjustable wall brackets and optional floor-stand mounting.
The amplifier in the system is capable of 100W output. The maximum acoustic output for the system is 112dB, and it has a frequency response of 33Hz to 20kHz. The HD Theater 600 has a variable crossover control of 60Hz to 200Hz, and a switch phase control of 0º to 180º.
