Netflix this morning posted the highly anticipated iPhone version as a free universal app (App Store) that works with both the iPhone and iPod touch as well as the iPad. The interface is different between the iPhone and iPad version, than juwst a scalled down version of the iPad’s UI. Movie viewers can still add to and manage the movie queue as well as resume from where they left off when playing on another device.
You need at least a standard $9 Netflix subscription to use the app. Streaming works over both 3G and Wi-Fi.
