Syfy debuted the 12 Monkeys Season 3 trailer at the New York Comic Con, and you can now watch the trailer below! 12 Monkeys Season 3 will consist of 10 episodes and premieres in 2017.
From Universal Cable Productions, 12 Monkeys is co-created by Terry Matalas and Travis Fickett (Nikita) and is based on the 1995 Oscar-nominated and Golden Globe-winning film of the same name. Matalas serves as the showrunner and executive producer. Charles Roven (The Dark Knight trilogy, Suicide Squad) who produced the original film, and Richard Suckle (Suicide Squad, American Hustle) also serve as executive producers.
12 Monkeys, starring Aaron Stanford (James Cole), Amanda Schull (Dr. Cassandra Railly), Kirk Acevedo (Ramse), Emily Hampshire (Jennifer), Barbara Sukowa (Dr. Katarina Jones) and Todd Stashwick (Deacon), follows the journey of James Cole, a man from 2043 sent back in time to stop a malevolent organization known as the Army of the 12 Monkeys from destroying the world. Joining forces with Dr. Cassandra Railly in the present day, Cole must untangle a conspiracy that’s been spun throughout centuries. As Cole, Dr. Railly and their unlikely allies get closer to discovering the truth they will learn that there are not only deadly consequences for mankind… but time itself.
12 Monkeys is produced by Universal Cable Productions in association with Atlas Entertainment, who produced the original cult classic film.
