20th Century Fox has just revealed two new Assassin’s Creed images via the franchise’s official Twitter feed. The images, which you can check out in the gallery viewer below, are accompanied by the words, “We work in the dark to serve the light,” which should be very familiar to fans of the Ubisoft video game series.
Featured in both of the below Assassin’s Creed images, Michael Fassbender (X-Men: Apocalypse, Macbeth) leads the cast of the film alongside Marion Cotillard (The Dark Knight Rises, Inception), Michael K. Williams (The Wire, Ghostbusters), Jeremy Irons (The Borgias, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice) and Brendan Gleeson (Edge of Tomorrow, the Harry Potter franchise). Justin Kurrzel, who previously worked with both Fassbender and Cotillard on Macbeth, is directing the film.
Assassin’s Creed is set for a December 21, 2016 release.
