Universal Pictures has pushed back the release of their upcoming Carl Rinsch action film 47 Ronin from November 21st of this year to February 8th of 2013.

Together they seek vengeance upon the treacherous overlord who killed their master and banished their kind. To restore honor to their homeland, the warriors embark upon a quest that challenges them with a series of trials that would destroy ordinary warriors.
The new release date has 47 Ronin opening opposite Lasse Hallström’s Safe Haven and Steven Soderbergh’s The Bitter Bill. The 20th Century Fox franchise sequel A Good Day to Die Hard opens a week later.
