The television newsmagazine show 60 Minutes, now in its 43rd year on-air, has debuted a $5 iPad app that features videos from current and past shows, updated every Sunday after the broadcast. The application, now available from the App Store, also includes web extras and 60MinutesOvertime.com content, and works on either Wi-Fi or 3G.
Segments from the current or previous two years’ worth of programs can be browsed by category, keywords or correspondent, and offers high-quality video and text content including previews and original content from the web site. Archival segments directly related to current headlines will also be available.
