The Bachelor is getting another spinoff. ABC has given the green light to Bachelor in Paradise, which will take alums of the franchise to a tropical location as they live together and continue their search for love, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
The show, which hails from Bachelor creator/executive producer Mike Fleiss and production company Warner Horizon TV, has been given a six-episode order. ABC says the show, debuting in the summer, will “feature new twists, shocking surprises, unexpected guests and some of the most unlikely relationships in Bachelor history, plus all the usual romance, drama and tears we’ve come to expect from the Bachelor franchise.”
The show, which will be hosted by Bachelor/Bachelorette host Chris Harrison, also will feature a rose ceremony, but further details weren’t available.
