The Acer Aspire Iconia Tab A100 is now available to purchase on Amazon UK. The seven-inch tablet will ship there on April 20, priced at just under £300 (about $485). The US price is expected to be lower, perhaps as little as $350.
The listing also shows the finalized specs for the tablet, which include Android 3.0, the dual-core, 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 CPU, a rear-facing, five-megapixel camera and a front-facing, two-megapixel camera. The capacitive touchscreen fits a grid of 1024×600 pixels, and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are integrated. There is 512KB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage. The device will be capable of outputting 1080P video onto compatible HDTVs thanks to its HDMI output.
US release dates or a 3G version haven’t yet been revealed.
