Adam Sandler is going to be moving to Paramount Pictures for his next feature film, which will start shooting in April 2013. Deadline has now revealed that the title of the project, known to be a comedy western, is Ridiculous 6.
The film is rumored to be a parody of John Sturges’ The Magnificent Seven. The 1960 film itself is targeted for a remake with Tom Cruise to star.
Sandler’s most recent live-action comedies, Jack & Jill and That’s My Boy have not done well at the box office.
Next summer, Sandler will star in his first sequel, Grown Ups 2, reuniting him with Happy Madison regulars Kevin James, David Spade, Chris Rock and Rob Schneider.
