Nintendo’s been showing off its upcoming shooter, Splatoon, for some time now.They showed it off at E3 last year and players enjoyed the fast pace and colorful take on multiplayer shooters. Now, we have some new details and, more importantly, a release date.
In addition to the standard multiplayer mode, there will be a Ranked Battle mode and a Battle Dojo training ground. A set of three Amiibo characters – Inkling Girl, Inkling Boy, and Inkling Squid, will launch alongside the game as well.
We don’t have to wait long for the game, either: Splatoon releases May 29, 2015 for the Wii U.
