Google has rolled out an update to its Allo messaging app that may pepper your messages with more emoji.
The Smart Smiley tool will suggest relevant emojis and stickers as people type to help spice up their missives. Google says suggestions will change based on the context of the message. Google is also making a new sticker pack available to users of Allo that includes characters from the forthcoming “Fantastic Beasts” movie.
Last, Google is giving Allo users the ability to swap between several new themes to give conversations a bit more style.
The new version of Allo for Android and iOS is being made available over the next few days. Smart Smiley will initially be available only in English, but will eventually come to more languages over time. Allo is an AI-assisted messaging app, but it cannot be used to replace SMS
