CBS Films has debuted five character posters for the action thriller American Assassin. The five key members of the cast – Dylan O’Brien, Michael Keaton, Sanaa Lathan, Shiva Negar and Taylor Kitsch all have a poster for what backers hope be the tent pole of a new franchise of films..
The movie is based on one of Vince Flynn’s fifteen novels about Mitch Rapp, an undercover CIA operative fighting terrorism.
Dylan O’Brien plays Rapp with Michael Keaton as his handler Stan Hurley, Sanaa Lathan as his boss Irene Kennedy and Taylor Kitsch as the film’s villain who is trying to kick off a third World War in the Middle East.
Michael Cuesta helms from a script by Stephen Schiff, Michael Finch, Edward Zwick & Marshall Herskovitz.
The flick comes to the big screen on September 15th.
