It a done deal now! Andy Serkis is officially taking the chair from the Venom sequel, the actor and filmmaker closing his deal to direct the follow-up to 2018 hit which grossed $856 million at the global box office.
Serkis rose to fame for his motion-capture and performance-capture acting work in the Lord of the Rings trilogy along with playing Supreme Leader Snoke in the recent“Star Wars films.
when comes to sitting in the chair, Andy cut his teeth on directing by handling the second unit action on “The Hobbit” trilogy.
Tom Hardy is expected to reprise his role in the film penned by Kelly Marcel.
