Anna Kendrick and Sam Rockwell will star in romance movie “Mr. Right,” withPaco Cabezas to direct. Shooting will begin in the fall.
“Mr. Right” is financed and produced by Amasia Entertainment’s Michael Helfantand Bradley Gallo. Circle of Confusion’s Lawrence Mattis and Rick Jacobs are producing.
The script, penned by “Chronicle” screenwriter Max Landis, centers on a woman who has had bad luck finding love until she meets Mr. Right, who turns out to be a reformed hit man.
Landis is exec producing with Stephen Emery. Kendrick will be seen in Disney’s “Into the Woods” and “Pitch Perfect 2.” Rockwell is starring in the reboot of “Poltergeist” for MGM and Fox.
