On Tuesday, Apple updated its printer drivers for a number of Fuji Xerox models of printers, scanners and AIO units. The new update package, dubbed v2.4, is 40.25MB for the “combo version,” but users updating through Software Update will only see the update if they have an affected model, and will only get the drivers for the relevant units that are registered with the Mac or on the local area network.
Among the existing models affected are the Fuji Xerox “D” series, the FX-Apeosport-IV series, the FX DocuCentre-IV series, the FX Document Centre “C” series, and the FX DocuPrint “C” series. Added in the update were some additional models in the FX DocuPrint series. The CM 405, CM 305, M355 and P355 along with the P455 have been added. All updates include the mentioned changed for both the Kanji edition and English.
A copy of the combo update can be downloaded from Apple’s Support website.
