AT&T has confirmed it will soon offer the HTC One X+ and One VX smartphones. Both share many features, including 4G LTE network support and now, their exclusivity at AT&T. While the One X+ will get Android 4.1, however, the One VX makes do with Android 4.0.
The One VX is the latest and fourth addition to HTC’s One series of phones that also include the One X, One V, and One S. While the One X+ will supersede the One X, it’s not clear whether the One VX will replace the One V, but it’s certainly likely.
It features a 4.5-inch touchscreen with 960×540 resolution and protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass along with a dual-core, 1.2GHz Qualcomm S4 processor. There is just 8GB of built-in storage, but a microSD memory card slot is present. The rear side of the unibody-phone (touted as the thinnest of its kind at 9.19mm) houses a five-megapixel camera. Also inside is an NFC radio and apt-X Bluetooth audio.
While it will arrive with Android 4.0, an update is promised to take it to Android 4.1 and the corresponding HTC Sense 4 UI. AT&T has not disclose ship dates and prices at this time..
