While only a handful of concertgoers will make the trek to the U.K. for the month-long iTunes Festival, anyone with the official app can catch all the action on an iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch or via iTunes on a computer.
The free iTunes Festival London 2011 app will bring all the live performances from the historic Roundhouse in London — via high-definition video streams from Live Nation Studios — plus you can watch past performances anytime.
The iTunes Festival app will feature 62 artists over 31 consecutive nights, kicking off with Paul Simon on July 1. Other top acts include rockers Linkin Park and Foo Fighters, modern soul darling Adele, pop kings Bruno Mars and Coldplay, and other popular artists including White Lies, My Chemical Romance, Moby and Duran Duran.
AirPlay is also supported, therefore it’s possible to stream HD video from your mobile device to your television with Apple TV.
