Apple this week said it has no evidence of a “photo-sharing ring” in which employees at a Brisbane store snapped photos of customers without permission and stole images from their phones.
Still, as the The Courier-Mail first reported, four male employees were fired.
There are also reports of workers lifting photos from clients’ iPhones.
The issue was initially flagged at the Carindale, Queensland store, the Courier-Mailsaid, after a staff member noticed a technician browsing a customer’s handset in the repair room.
