One week after Warner Bros. officially passed on the sequel to the 1994 hit comedy Dumber and Dumber, the Farrelly Brothers have revealed through their Twitter account that the project, dubbed Dumb and Dumber To will, indeed, move forward thanks to Universal and Red Granite Pictures.
Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are both slated to reprise their roles.
The original Dumb and Dumber represented one of Carrey’s breakout comedy roles. The film was given a prequel in 2003 with Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd, but without the creative involvement of the Farrellys.
