Martin Lawrence has confirmed his involvement in Bad Boys For Life, the third film in the action franchise. In fact the photo he posted this morning features an official reunion of him and Will Smith who will reprise their roles of Detective Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowery respectively.
After a decade of ‘will they or won’t they’ talk of doing one, the feature finally scored a green light from Sony last month with Will Smith attached but Lawrence had been a hold out. Now he’s back with Lawrence posting this morning: “It’s official. Bad Boys for Life” along with the hashtags #teammartymar and #weback.
Smith has now posted a video of himself and Lawrence together on-set, whihc you can watch below.
Directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah helm the film which is aiming for an early 2020 release.
