Bank of America today updated its Android and iOS apps with biometric security.
Consumers who own handsets with fingerprint sensors — such as the Samsung Galaxy S6 or Apple iPhone 6 — can now use their fingerprint to secure the Bank of America app.
In addition to fingerprint login, the BofA app includes a redesigned account overview screen and security center, and a bank-by-appointment feature for setting up in-person meetings.
The Bank of America app is free to download via the Google Play Store and iTunes App Store.
