The BBC has added AirPlay sharing for its popular free Global iPlayer iPad app. Version 1.2.5 of the app now allows users watch their content on a TV by pushing it to their Apple TV. The app gives users the ability to stream high quality TV programming over a 3G or Wi-Fi connection.
The BBC iPlayer app allows also allows users to download programs to watch offline as well. Popular shows available include Top Gear, Dr Who, and Little Britain.
