Belkin has unveiled their all-new lineup of cases and stands for the iPad 2, each specifically engineered for the thinner, lighter model but in some cases will also be compatible with the previous model. Two of the new models are designed as stands only, while the others are traditional folio-style cases that also offer various positioning options.
The FlipBlade Adjust stand is available for both versions of the iPad, and offers a different, thinner styling than the original FlipBlade. It flips open and adusts to four different angles, from typing to viewing videos to using FaceTime to reading e-books. It features an easy, tilt-back motion and also sports an opening to run cables through the base for charging or syncing (pictures of all the products are below).
The ViewLounge is a unique offering in the crowded field of iPad stands, a beanbag-anchored stand that is ideal for supporting the iPad 2 on soft or uneven surfaces (though it works fine on even, hard surfaces as well). The stand features a slip-resistant texture and easily tilted viewing, and makes for a comfortable stand to use on the couch, in bed or anywhere else around the home.
The Flip Folio Stand is a traditional folio-style case that protect the iPad 2 with a gripable perforated design and verstile options for viewing angles, and features a secure case closure.
The Access Folio Stand sports an easy-access pocket for accessories, and can be set for media-viewing or for typing, while the Slim Folio Stand features ultra-thin protection without bulk.
Finally, the company offers the Verve Folio Stand, the luxury model — a leather design and secure closure ensure both protection and style in an elegant package for the iPad 2.
