Best Buy’s Black Friday circular has leaked early, with the expected wide selection of high-tech and electronics items — including both Android and Apple items. The flyer is also full of other high-tech and electronic items, including a strong push on HDTVs, cameras and non-Apple tablets and e-readers, as well as Apple computers and iOS devices including the iPad 2 and Apple TV.
Android deals include a 4G LTE HTC Thunderbolt for free with a 2-year Verizon contract (a savings of $100), as well as an Asus Transformer 10.1-inch Wi-Fi tablet (running Android 3.2 aka Honeycomb) for $300, again roughly a $100 savings. A Dell Streak 7-inch tablet (also running Honeycomb) is offered as an “online-only” deal with pricing thus far unannounced, and the company is also offering a Toshiba Thrive 10.1-inch tablet for $280 with activation of a two-year “mobile hotspot” plan that is exclusive to Best Buy. The Acer Iconia 7-inch tablet is also available for $190 under similar terms. The Pandigital Multimedia Novel 7-inch e-reader is on sale for $70 (a $50 savings) with a contract.
For Apple items, Best Buy is offering $45 off any model of iPad 2, and $150 off iMacs and MacBook Pros (very limited stock in stores). The company is offering the iPhone 4 and 3GS at normal pricing ($99 and free, respectively, with a two-year Sprint or Verizon contract, but does not mention the iPhone 4s at all. The current-model Apple TV is offered at $10 off, the 32GB iPod Touch carries a $5 savings, and $100 iTunes gift cards will be on sale for $80.
The 8GB current-model iPod nano is on sale for $5 off its normal price, but includes a $15 Best Buy gift card with purchase, and $5 off the 8GB iPod Touch but with a $50 Best Buy gift card. The company is also offering iOS-compatible “app-cessories” such as the Helo TC remote control helicopter for $15 off its normal $50 price.
No-contract lower-end Android phones such as the Samsung Vitality, Samsung Transform Ultra and HTC Wildfire are also offered with about a $100 savings. Higher-range Android models such as the Droid Incredible 2 and Evo Shift 4G from HTC, Blackberry’s 4G Torch 9810, Samsung’s 4G Stratosphere, the LG Thrill 4G and the Motorola Atrix 2 are all offered for $1 with 2-year contract, saving between $50 and $100 on their normal price. The Samsung Infuse 4G is also available free with contract, a $100 savings.
Other tech items of interest include the WD TV streaming media player for $10 off its normal $100 price, and the Slingbox Solo for $100, an $80 savings. A selection of printers and Android-based media players are available at savings ranging from $20-40.
