“12 Years A Slave” won best picture at the 86th Academy Awards on Sunday night, but the the big winner was the space thriller “Gravity,” which won seven Oscars.
While the best picture race had been hot one before the ceremony began, there was little doubt about who would take the top acting prizes Matthew McConaughey and Cate Blanchett won for lead actor and lead actress, as most of us thought they would.
