BlackBerry today said BBM 2.5 is now available for Android, BlackBerry, and iOS devices. The company first revealed details of the updated messaging service earlier this month.
Some of the new features include Timed Messages, which allow users to choose how long a message is visible to the recipient. Another feature, called Message Retraction, allows BBM users to delete messages they’ve sent from the phones of others. According to BlackBerry, this feature works with text messages only and not those that include pictures.
Other updates include a streamlined sticker experience, high-def picture transfer, and music discovery through friends’ playlists.
BBM 2.5 will be available from the Play Store, BlackBerry World, and iTunes App Store later today.
