Bohemian Rhapsody is a hit with exhibitors, they have asked Fox for extra screens. the movie may now debut in around 4,000 theaters.
Conservative expectations are that Bohemian Rhapsody opens to $35 million, but many industry sources are suggesting it will push past $40 million. This month’s A Star Is Born was tracking at $30 million and ultimately opened to $44.2 million (with previews), musicals are older-skewing and so harder to guess the box-office take for.
