We have your first look at Brad Pitt on the Berlin set of War Machine, a provocative, satirical comedy from writer-director David Michôd (The Rover, Animal Kingdom) for Plan B Entertainment and Netflix. In the pics, you’ll see Pitt and what looks to be Meg Tilly (The Big Chill, Valmont), although Tilly is not officially announced or credited yet. They appear to be on some sort of tour bus. Check out the set photos below!
War Machine concerns a four star, “rock star” general (Pitt) whose lethal reputation and impeccable track record vaults him to command the American war in Afghanistan. The film co-stars Will Poulter, Anthony Michael Hall, Topher Grace, Alan Ruck and Scoot McNairy.
Inspired by the best-selling book “The Operators: The Wild and Terrifying Inside Story of America’s War in Afghanistan” by the late Michael Hastings, War Machine is produced by Netflix and Pitt alongside his Plan B partners Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner, and producer Ian Bryce (World War Z, Saving Private Ryan).
