Not a lot of information has been revealed about Xbox One exclusive ReCore yet. However, we do know now that the game will be written by Joesph Staten who used to work for Bungie. The New York Times posted an article about the growing number of AAA video game added female protagonists. It has a section about ReCore mentioning Joesph Staten as the lead writer for the game.
The story sounds unique as it centers around the character of Joule who thinks she is the last human in the desert world of Far Eden. Some robots are roaming around and her goal is to revive the human race. We won’t know how yet until the game comes out obviously.
Staten said: “The male gender does not have the monopoly on heroism. Joule is emblematic of this conviction, and we hope she’s a character who stands strong and stands out in a market filled with male heroes.”
ReCore is an Xbox One exclusive that ihs expected to be out in 2016 sometime. However, we have not seen much about the game so hopefully more will be shown in 2016. It could be one of the more unique games that will be out next year.
