Capcom is working to bring its Game Boy Advance titles to the Wii U Virtual Console, including 2002 tactical role-playing game Mega Man Battle Network 3. Capcom confirmed with IGN that both the Blue and White versions of the game — complementary titles with different content that launched in North America and Europe in 2003 — will be added to the online platform.
Last week, the Australian Classification Board listed both games with new ratings and Nintendo as the publisher, suggesting their release on the Virtual Console. Capcom also stated that it is currently looking into bringing other Game Boy Advance titles to the platform, with more information forthcoming.
“We are working on bringing this and other GBA titles to the North American Virtual Console,” a representative for Capcom said. “We’ll have more information about the lineup in the coming months. For Australia and Europe, we are still in discussions about the release of Virtual Console titles for those markets.”
