Carrie Underwood,the Grammy-winning singer, today start her journey in conquering another part of show biz: movies. The inspiring biopic “Soul Surfer,” which opens in theaters today, marks Carrie’s film debut as Sarah Hill, the real-life youth counselor who befriended the amazing surfer/survivor Bethany Hamilton (played by AnnaSophia Robb).
Now we here at ToT doubt she will gain an Oscar for for this role. But in the future she could join fellow ‘American Idol’ alumni Jennifer Hudson as an Oscar winner.
