Production is now underway in Austin, Texas on Robert Rodriguez’s Machete Kills and the writer/director has been Tweeting both casting news and behind-the-scenes images from his feed.
As you can see in the first image, Charlie Sheen has joined the cast and will be playing the President of the United States.
“Who better?” Rodriguez quips.
Rodriguez has also revealed the below shot of leading lady Jessica Alba who, through her own Instagram showed off herself posing with Danny Trejo and an all-female mariachi band.
Also starring Mel Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Demian Bichir, Amber Heard, and Zoe Saldana; Machete Kills doesn’t yet have an official release date.
